Workshop #15 Love Letter Home

Holzgarten Projekt: „Love Letter Home“
Our current exchange students from Pforzheim hosted in Halifax will cooperate and collaborate with their Canadian fellow student from NASCAD in Halifax to create a “Love Letter Home”

Projektleitung: Prof. Sibylle Klose, Gary Markle

Beginn: 15. November,
Ort:  NASCAD Halifax, Canada

Beschreibung:

Love Letter Home

Changing perspective and distance are essential tools in design to initiate paradigm shifts – a shift, which will enable to discover, to perceive a familiar, habitual surrounding differently and to identify “essentials”, “fundamentals” and “rudiments”.
Initial roots are the vital force of growth and creation – as in nature as in design. Students will visually describe, characterize and outline what “Holzgarten” (wood garden) means to them, a Holzgarten in Pforzheim distinguished from the distance and a “Holzgarten” in Halifax – this interdisciplinary and interactive perspective of German and Canadian design students will lead to a “Love Letter Home”.

Participating students from Pforzheim:
Jeanette Badura (Fashion Design)
Frieda Dörfer (Jewellery Design)
Simon Mager (Visual Communication)
